Blackberry Challenge Council

Blackberry teamed up with College Humor to create a huge marketing push aimed at bringing a younger user base towards Blackberry services.

We coded up a very sophisticated games engine that would allow users to engage by sending in either videos or photos to compete in competitions.

The platform featured a moderation system and connected with various API’s to deliver a streamlined experience. The Challenge Council website was extremely efficient and used the most advanced caching mechanisms so that we could account for the millions of users who would be visiting the site at any one time.

This project was designed by Razorfish (now Sapient Publicis) and developed by Digital Mycelium.

This project is recognized by many names, including BBM Challenge Council, and Blackberry Youth Challenge
