What we collect, and what we do with it.

No cookies unless you say yes, no tracking across other sites, and nothing sold to anyone.

Who we are

Digital Mycelium Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, number 14790437, with its registered office at 54 Waterview House, Carr Street, London E14 7SX. We are the data controller for anything you send us through this site.

Questions about your data go to hello@digitalmycelium.com. They are read by the founder, Vishal Modha.

What we collect when you send an enquiry

Only what you type into the form: your name, your email address, the kind of project, your message, and, if you choose to give them, your company, phone number and budget.

We also note which page of this site you sent it from and, if you arrived from an advert or a link, which one. That tells us which of our pages and adverts are useful.

We use this to reply to you and to prepare a proposal. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we never sell or share your details for marketing.

If you book a call

Call bookings are taken by Google Calendar. Google asks for your name and email address so that it can send you the invitation, and the booking appears in our calendar.

What we collect when you only visit

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It records the page viewed, the site that referred you, and your country, browser and device type. It sets no cookies, does not follow you to other sites, and does not let us identify you.

If you say yes when asked, we also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser so that it can tell one visit from another. It is off unless you agree, and if you said yes and have changed your mind, clearing this site's data in your browser turns it off again.

Apart from those, your browser remembers a few choices on your own device so that you are not asked again: your answer about cookies, which kind of visitor you said you are, and the currency prices are shown in. None is sent to us.

Who handles it for us

Vercel hosts this site and provides the visit counts. Google provides our email and calendar, so your enquiry arrives in a Google Workspace inbox. Both may process data outside the United Kingdom, under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we are talking with you about the project. If we work together, we keep our correspondence for the life of the project and for as long afterwards as the law requires us to keep business records. If we do not, ask us at any time and we will delete it.

Why we are allowed to

We handle your enquiry because you asked us to, in order to take steps towards a contract with you. We count visits because we have a legitimate interest in knowing whether this site works, and we do it in a way that does not identify you. Google Analytics runs only with your consent.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Email hello@digitalmycelium.com and we will act on it within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
