Corbis is a stock photography website fully owned by Bill Gates, since purchased by Getty Images.
Corbis wanted to create a high end stock photography division called Crave, which would be delivered through a responsive website and an iOS and iPad app.
Digital Mycelium was tasked with the coding element of this project, carefully crafting elegant designs that were far-fetched and ahead of their time compared to the rest of the web.
The Corbis Crave platform was more like a well-stylised digital magazine than a website. We incorporated a sophisticated preview engine to allow the editors to truly see what they were going to publish.
